Garber Metrology’s Community Involvement

At Garber Metrology, our precision and quality extend beyond the work performed inside the lab. We believe that strong businesses help build strong communities, which is why community involvement has always been a core part of our values.

By actively engaging with students, veterans and local organizations, we are committed to making a positive impact where it matters most.

Impacting Future Generations

One way we demonstrate our commitment to community involvement is through workforce development and education. We attend local job fairs to connect with individuals interested in careers in metrology and calibration services.

Most recently, we participated in a job fair at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, engaging with students and graduates who are exploring technical career paths. These events allow us to share industry knowledge, highlight career opportunities and support the next generation of professionals.

We also open our doors to local students by hosting facility tours for high schools. These tours give students a firsthand look at real-world applications of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Students from Conestoga Valley High School recently visited us to learn about precision measurement, quality standards and the diverse career opportunities within the field.

By investing time and resources into education, we’re helping students better understand potential career paths right in their local community.

Giving Back

Community involvement also includes giving back to those who have served. In honor of Veterans Day, we prepared overnight care packages for veterans experiencing homelessness. These care packages were distributed by local social workers to homeless veterans in the area, providing essential items and a reminder that their service is recognized and appreciated.

Through ongoing community involvement, we remain dedicated to supporting education, workforce development and those in need. Our goal is to strengthen the community that we proudly call home.
