What do you do in your position with Garber?  Schedule service calls, purchase new equipment and parts, provide quotes on new equipment and service. Troubleshoot scales over the phone and if needed in the field. Handle customer complaints and customer issues. Assist with billing issues. Receive and ship

What interested you originally to do the work that you do? Out of technical school I was looking for a job that I would be able to use my electronics background.

What is your favorite part of the work you do? Making customer’s happy

What is your favorite experience you had with a client or your favorite achievement is servicing a client?  There are so many over the past 30 + years. I would say one of my favorites would be when a customer called me on a Saturday afternoon and had to get his scale working that day because they were making blacktop that night. I was able to fix the scale over the phone saving them a service call and saving me from having to work. The customer was happy that scale was fixed and I was happy that I didn’t have to in go to work.

What are your favorite things to do when you’re not working?  Riding one of my bicycles or working around the house

What is your favorite childhood memory?  Being able ride my bicycle to Middle Creek Wildlife Area and I still like to ride to that area but only much faster now.

What is your favorite food?  Pizza

What is your favorite beverage? Lemon Ade or Ginger Ale

What are your 3 favorite movies? Chitty Chitty Bang Bang ,  Caddy Shack and Fast and Furious Series

What are your 3 favorite bands?  AC/DC, Bob Seger and Silver Bullet Band and Van Halen

What are your 3 favorite restaurants?  Oregon Dairy, Buca di Deppo and Golden Corral

Have you ever wanted to throw a calibration weight through a wall?   No but I did want to throw my beeper one time. You know I  am old that I had a beeper.
