An article about our June golf outing in last month’s Intelligencer Journal/New Era:
“Big Brothers Big Sister of Lancaster County has gotten a big boost from a local business owner who plans to keep on helping. The first “Garber Metrology Golf Classic” to benefit BBBS, held in June at Manheim Township’s Bent Creek golf course, raised $33,379 for the agency. After the success of this year’s event, a second annual fundraiser has been scheduled for June 22, 2015. Jay Garber is owner and president of Garber Metrology and Airport View Self Storage, and has made supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters a part of the company culture, Siwiec adds. For more information, call Big Brothers Big Sisters at 397-7567.”
It felt great to make a difference and we are looking forward to next year’s event!
